Our long-term outlook, institutional weight and global breadth provide our clients with a stable and reliable financial partner, whether in Corporate or Personal Banking or our Trade Services, Commodities, Financial Institutions and Global Markets lines of business.Overview:The position will assist in related risk management with respect to the businesses of Global markets and Treasury business, including supporting the management of related IT systems, ensuring proper data management and user access controls according to the Banks policy and procedures, head office regulations and other applicable rules and regulations.Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to:System ManagementLead and monitor the full implementation process of new systems, system upgrades and alterations according to the Banks overall planDirect and help business users to translate business needs into functional design, test planning and user documentationDirect and lead risk managers to translate risk control needs into functional design, test planning and user documentationProvide expertise on new activity processes with respect to I.T. issuesCoordinate and support the maintenance of related information and management systemsManage and maintain proper user access controls of related systems according to the Banks policies and proceduresManage and maintain static and market data of related information and management systemsAssist in the management of operational risksProvide assistance to other branches in the region with respect to questions on global markets and treasury business related systemsOther tasks assignedRisk ControlCommunicate with other departments on resolving risk related issues/concernsProactively improve the risk monitoring and controlling procedures of the risk monitor in the Global Markets and Treasury businessAssist with the review and dissemination of other departmental Policy and ProceduresCoordinate with related departments and HO in the application and management of the related risksProvide assistance to other branches in the region with respect to risk monitorReportsMonitor, control and report on related risks in the Global Markets and Treasury businessReview periodic business and risk analysis reports to General Management of the branch and Head OfficeReview risk warning reportsReview the analysis reports on risks of the businessDirect the preparation of the research reports assignedQualifications:
Bachelors degree is required for this positionA minimum of 2 years of financial market business related experience and at least 3 years of IT system related experience in the banking industry are requiredKnowledge of financial instruments and products (Foreign exchange, money market, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swap, Repo, etc) is requiredProficiency in computer platforms and applications; is requiredExperience related to SQL, VBA, Python is a plusBilingual abilities in both English and Chinese are highly preferred
Pay RangeActual salary is commensurate with candidates relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
