Job Description

Adhere to the General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions)Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.Perform surface preparation on aircraft and component partsApply primer / topcoat / final sprayPerform touch ups as neededPolish painted surfaces for finished appearanceInspect, perform touch-up and polish painted surfaces for a finished appearanceInstall sealant and erosion tapePerforms and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.Layout aircraft to customer specifications.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications

You typically have a minimum of one 5 years painting experience (i.e. aviation, automotive or marine)You provide satisfactory results on Pulmonary Function evaluation in order to obtain respirator certificationYou have formal vocational training or equivalentYou possess customer service / aviation work experienceYou possess basic PC skillsYou have basic knowledge pulling maintenance manuals / IPCs from computerYou have basic knowledge of regulations dealing with transportation of hazardous materialsYou have demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft statusYou have demonstrated ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
