Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a Financial Analyst II for a fast-paced, highly technical business environment. This position will focus on key projects within the CTO Org and Cloud platform to enhance reporting, improve financial processes, and create governance. The role offers opportunities to make significant contributions as the business transitions from a build to run state, ensuring efficient and effective business and financial functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide financial oversight for a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts.Analyze monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activitiesBuild and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, focusing on cloud consumptionCreate and deliver financial presentations to leadership, recommending decisions with financial implications and emphasizing cloud environment optimizationLeverage financial modeling and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify multi-year agreements and long-term savings plansPerform ad-hoc analysis on cost-saving opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives, demonstrating critical thinking in complex situations

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field2+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or tech industriesMBA or MS - Finance is a plus but not requiredSkills And Qualifications

Advanced skills in MS ExcelProficiency with financial tools (e.g., Smartview, Onestream)Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/YearBenefits
