The Mulberry is searching for the right Assistant GM to assist in running this exciting new venue. Experience in running a significant and busy F&B business and training a professional service staff is required. The position includes overseeing the dining room and bar during its busiest times. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hospitality driven and experienced in food and beverage service training and development.Requirements for the position:* Experience in both bartending & management in a fast-paced, professional, hospitality driven environment* Must have experience in successful staffing and scheduling* Knowledge of current bar trends and expertise in cocktails/liquor, beer and wine a plus* Floor Management and closing responsibility during some of our busiest shifts* Must be able to lead and develop a successful bar & server team through hiring, training, teaching and adherence to policies, procedures, and established systems.* Manage & Execute the Private Events portion of the business* Knowledge of both marketing and current social networking trends* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding budget requirements* Ability to collaborate with management and owners to collectively move the business forwardThis position is for an energetic professional who is driven by guest satisfaction and providing superior hospitality.
