About the Opportunity In your position as the Sanitation Technician Lead at Monin, your primary responsibility will be to execute and document the master sanitation schedule, as well as conduct package size changeovers. These tasks must be performed in strict accordance with Monin's quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safe Quality Food requirements, and FDA guidelines for safe production of food products.

What You'll DoResponsible for the documentation of cleaning activities by sanitation team in the computerized sanitation system.Ensure compliance to master sanitation schedule and update with improvements as needed.Lead deep clean activities.Coach, guide and lead sanitation tech.Train techs and operators on cleaning tasks as needed.Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cleaning as prescribed in master sanitation schedule or as assigned.Complete size changeovers on production lines in preparation for the following day's production requirements.Manage & coordinate with QA to assure pre-op inspections pass before startup.Safely handle chemicals utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Data Sheets.Ensure that all work instructions and job aids are followed, and all documentation and quality checks are completed following SQF requirements.Use continuous improvement mindset to improve processesAbility to troubleshoot process nonconformities, identify root causes and take corrective action.Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area and follow chemical handling procedures according to the Safety Data Sheets.Set up fillers for start up and able to start up production equipment.Complete cleaning related inspections of equipment and report findings to maintenance and management.Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management.Upholds, inspired and rewards adoption of company mission and values in the workplace.Other duties as assigned by plant operations manager and supervisors.Your Secret Ingredients to Success

High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsMust be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to read, understand, and follow Safety Data Sheets and Work Instructions.Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach or stoop for virtually the entire shiftMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overheadMust be able to work in a wet environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicalsMust possess effective verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to learn and communicate on a computer.Must be able to work effectively individually and as part of a teamMust follow safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for self and coworkersCertified to use forklift, walk behind lift, scissor lift, boom lift, and electric pallet jack.Must be detail oriented.Must be able to use tools to complete changeovers on filling and packaging equipment.What We Offer - We work hard to offer our employees benefits that improve their lives.
