Position Purpose:The Senior Analyst of HD.com Strategy is part of the Online Strategy team and leads / supports discrete strategic projects. The Senior Analyst is part of the team responsible for developing HD.com's overall strategy. They will assist in prioritizing initiatives, performing business analysis, working on business development opportunities and monitoring HD.com's performance vs. targets and competitors. They will also help support the annual strategic and operational planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

50% Planning Process: Supports the strategic and operational planning cycle through building models, performing business analysis and benchmarking studies. Works closely with the business to help communicate the strategy and planning outcomes.40% Strategic Projects: Analyzes business problems, structures the issue and performs analyses. Synthesizes data to help develop a solution, creates documents communicating solution using structured communications principles, helps present solution to team and stakeholders, and works with stakeholders to implement the solution.10% Competitive and Market Intelligence: Perform research on key competitors and market trends; own regular reporting on one or more data sources

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Reports to a Manager, or Director of Business Ops & Strategy.This role had no direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
