Broad River Retail is looking to hire a General Manager to add to our retail leadership team at our Ashley HomeStore locations in the Charlotte, NC area!

We are looking for a General Manager who cares about the quality products and services they represent, their customers, and their team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, energized, customer service and sales focused. If you are passionate, relentless, professional, and a 'people-person,' we want to talk with you!

Description:Champions our Mission, Values, and Customer BeliefsCreates, communicates, and executes on the Selling SystemMonitors and reports individual sales associate performance relative to sales goals andmeasures Leads all sales activities and initiativesEnsures excellent customer service experienceMentors and coaches store associatesExecutes staffing planManages and communicates key Management ReportsAddresses problems or issues in store under-performanceMonitors sales associate performance based on established goalsOversees consistent implementation of process and policy standards across storeSupervises showroom appearance standards from general cleanliness and tidiness to complete and accurate price taggingParticipates in call to review store results (relative to goals) m-t-d for Sales per Traffic Up and other measurements such as Staffing Levels, Marketing Feedback, and Sales Successes and OpportunitiesQualifications

Requirements:

A passion for retail!High energy with a sense of urgencyAbility to improve store performance and meet Company's growth needs.At least five years experience in a big box retail management with a track record in retail or commissioned salesHistory of successfully managing a team of 10 or more Associates is requiredMust have professional appearance, excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skillsEnjoys a fast pace retail sales environment with the ability to work a 40+ hour work week including some nights and all weekendsProfessional, driven, positive, resilient, and achievement-focusedDetailed individuals with strong follow up and follow throughExcellent time-managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills: a great listenerEssential Functions:

Computer skills/technology skillsCompetent in the use of iPads and tablets.Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.Mathematical skills.Physical Requirements:
