The UNIQLO Loss Prevention Area Manager is responsible for the management of all Loss Prevention programs and personnel in their assigned area. The Loss Prevention Area Manager is responsible for achieving shortage and safety goals through effective partnerships with operations, HR and store personnel. Required to perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for managing and training Loss Prevention staff personnel for each assigned locationCreate and audit shortage action plans in assigned areaManage and maintain all loss prevention equipment that includes but not limited to CCTV, access control, EAS and alarm systems.Manage all internal and external investigation programs targeting the reduction of theft and fraudResponsible for enforcing the policies and standards of the Loss Prevention department and the companyImplement and manage training and awareness programsBuild positive business relationships both within and outside of the companyRegular, dependable attendance & punctualitySKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Significant experience in Internal Investigation including use of exception reporting systems and internal investigation interviewingSignificant experience in managing external apprehension programs; Proven ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals on both criminal and civil mattersExperience and knowledge of current security technology, CCTV, & covert surveillance; Electronic Article Surveillance Burglar and Fire alarm systemsMust have strong business acumen, intelligence and creativityStrong leadership drive and negotiating skillsAbility to apply sound business principles and practicesAbility to train and develop staff and maintain documentation in an organized mannerAbility to promote accountability and manage the performance of remote personnel with varying skill setsMust have excellent communications, strong strategic skills, sound business judgment, and proven consultative skills with all levels of managementExcellent presentation skills, both verbal and writtenMust be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and AccessBachelor degree preferredTravel requiredMinimum 6-8 years Retail Loss Prevention Management experience, including responsibilities for District/Regional Executives and teamsAbility to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needsCOMPENSATION

Salary: $85,000 annually*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position. This salary range is being offered for the company's Los Angeles areas.
