The Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Ops Manager to join our UCAN Marketing Operations & Production team based in Los Angeles. You will join a cross-functional team of producers, artists, and asset managers focused on driving operational excellence by executing the highest quality production work across Art & Print, A/V, and Digital, at the speed the business requires, always in the most impactful way for Netflix.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Production, you will be responsible for vendor management, running scale programs, and partnering with teams focused on our overall production infrastructure. The ideal candidate is both innovative and collaborative, able to balance competing priorities across varied stakeholder groups, and excels at identifying and implementing workflow improvements. You are curious, detail-oriented, and have deep expertise across production and post production spaces. You are able to see patterns and connect the dots across teams where others may not. Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management
In partnership with Sr. Managers across Art & Print, A/V, Asset Management, and Localization maintain the Marketing Production vendor database. Track external production partner success and manage annual reporting.
Maintain vendor onboarding materials and spec information, ensuring any changes in workflow, tooling, or specs are up-to-date
Coordinate training and adoption for new systems (i.e. Brand) with external partners
Lead onboarding of new external partners to UCAN Marketing Production tooling and internal systems
Production Programs
Identify, design, and implement production workflow improvements informed by, and in partnership with cross-functional teams
Coordinate creative testing, planning and fulfillment initiatives as they relate the overall Marketing Production team and our scale solutions
Support operational tooling development through partnership with our Program Management and Marketing Production teams
Qualifications
Minimum 5-8 years of production manager or coordinator experience in a production partner, post-production facility, creative agency or entertainment studio
Demonstrated ability to think innovatively
Knowledge of Marketing campaign workflows, including understanding the creative and production process of assets
Fluent in AV, Print and Digital file formats and software with an understanding of asset management, servicing, and trafficking
Experience optimizing workflows by leveraging data tracking and project management tools (e.g. Airtable, Wrike, Basecamp, JIRA)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to dive into the technical details as well as stay high level
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues as needed
Pragmatic, organized and detail oriented, you have a big capacity to both think and ‘do’
Ability to collaborate with distinct cross-functional partners
Knowledge of asset localization workflows is a plus
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $245,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
