This role is pivotal in shaping the core modeling functions for our used vehicle and lease return business, and in refining our valuation model for trade-in vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modeling, demand planning, and data inputs within an OEM environment, with a particular emphasis on electric vehicles.Responsibilities:Lead the development and enhancement of core modeling functions related to Rivians used vehicle and lease return business. This includes designing and implementing models to predict vehicle values, manage inventory, and optimize remarketing strategies.Contribute to and refine the used Rivian vehicle valuation model for trade-in scenarios. Ensure accuracy and reliability in the valuation process to support business objectives.Analyze and interpret data related to vehicle performance, market trends, and customer behavior. Utilize insights to inform decision-making and improve modeling accuracy.Work closely with other departments, including product development, finance, and sales, to ensure alignment and integration of business modeling efforts across the organization.Develop and manage demand planning processes to forecast vehicle returns and used vehicle inventory needs accurately.Prepare and present reports on modeling results, valuation accuracy, and market trends to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the business modeling and remarketing functions. Implement best practices and innovative solutions.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.Minimum of 4 years of experience in an OEM environment, with significant emphasis on business modeling, demand planning, and data inputs.Proven expertise in modeling techniques, data analysis, and forecasting methods. Proficiency with relevant software and tools for modeling and data analysis.Extensive experience and knowledge of electric vehicles is highly desirable. Familiarity with the unique aspects of EV market dynamics and valuation is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and interact with stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on delivering results within deadlines.

Pay Disclosure:Salary Range/Hourly Rate for San Francisco Bay Area Based Applicants : $121,800-152,300/yr (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)Benefits Summary:
