As an IT Support Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to provide computer, hardware, and software support to our employees. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing, updating, and repairing desktop/laptop computers. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/Responsibilities:Responsible for inventory management to include the purchase, configuration, repair, break/fix, moves/add/changes and integration of new and existing computing hardware.Provide basic network support ensuring desktop and other networked peripherals full connectivity.Responsible for providing outstanding customer-centered quality support and service ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.Address/resolve IT incidents/service request; promptly enter/prioritizes/track/monitor/update and follow-up/ close all tickets received via the IT Service Desk tracking system, telephone calls and/or SNC personnel walk-ups.Support organizational efforts and maintaining policies and procedures in the IT Department and Lab environments.Assist with the creation and maintenance of local site IT systems documentation.Must-haves:Associate's Degree in a related field of study with 4 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationCustomer/solution ownership, an overall drive for excellence.Team focused with the capacity for knowledge sharingStrong written and verbal communication skills with end usersDrive to maintain current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the businessDemonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfactionAbility to understand user and business needs and translate to technical solutionsAbility to manage small IT projectsBasic knowledge of current IT technical standards as related to computers, printers, network technology, drivers, software troubleshooting, VPN technologies and RSA and Video Teleconference (VTC) and other related peripheralsComprehensive troubleshooting skills of industry standard hardware and software products/servicesAbility to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance is required.Preferred:Tier II desktop support experienceCompTIA Security+CompTIA Network+SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
