ABOUT THE JOB

The Commercial Banker II is responsible for originating new commercial relationships and maintaining & growing a portfolio of existing clients through the cross-selling of HTLF products and services. The Commercial Banker II focuses on growing deposits, loans, and fee income in a profitable manner, while always keeping the best interests of clients and customers in mind.

Identify prospects through business development activities, within defined target markets, designed to build and grow loan & deposit portfolios.Serve our prospects and customers through a consultative selling, trusted advisor role to assist them in recognizing and tackling business opportunities and risks and helping them accomplish their goals while maximizing our effectiveness.Perform the daily behaviors, set forth by your leadership team, designed to meet and achieve your goals.Participate in the underwriting and documentation of Commercial Loans.Manage a Commercial Loan portfolio and monitor the portfolio for credit quality.WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

A successful Commercial Banker II typically has:

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, including specific courses in accounting, finance, and economics plus additional bank related training.4+ years of Commercial Banking experience.Formal credit training and 2+ years of credit analysis/structuring experience.Demonstrated success in sales and business development.BENEFITS INCLUDE:

The targeted salary range for this role is:$98,429.00 - $127,958.00

The annualized base salary range reflects figures based on the primary location. Pay ranges may vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for a Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
