Role Overview: Individual responsible for a key role interfacing between Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Banking and Sales to support the marketing, distribution, and pricing of ABS new issuance. Specialist knowledge required for visible market role. This role requires those who are passionate to learn and succeed at Lloyds Securities Inc. The role involves working in a successful collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: Work closely with colleagues in ABS Banking, Secondary Trading and Sales to achieve an optimal transaction execution Develop cohesive strategies for marketing ABS new issues. Consider where comparable issues have priced recently, supply and demand conditions within the market, competing supply within the pipeline, structural alternatives, and investor feedback obtained during issuer roadshows (wherever relevant) Formulate and recommend a specific strategy for bringing the new issue to market. Deliver the recommendation to the issuer after consulting with banking, secondary trading and joint lead managers (as appropriate) Be prepared to explain the pros and cons of the recommended approach. Consider alternative approaches and explain why the chosen marketing approach was selected Develop a joint recommendation for initial price thoughts. Deliver that recommendation to the issuer along with marketing points in support of the recommendation Communicate with Sales to develop orders for the new issue. Track all such orders within a blotter and communicate deal status Ensure that appropriate securities laws and regulations are fully complied with during the distribution of marketing materials and deal updates On an ongoing basis, provide succinct and accurate market updates to ABS bankers and issuer clients Develop active and productive direct dialogues with key investor clients Provide information to support senior management reports monitoring market conditions and trends Supporting changes to systems, processes and working practices that achieve operational improvement and contributing to development of new product initiatives and structures Qualifications: Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Valid Series 7, 63 and 79 registrations Ideally a min 3 years banking experience with significant exposure to capital markets activities Key skills and knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge and wide practical application of the relevant procedures, products and services within North American Asset Back Securities markets Strong computer skills: rigorous knowledge of Bloomberg & MS Office (Ideal candidate would also have working knowledge of Intex) Excellent organization/prioritization skills, proactively handle tasks and issues Strong work ethic, detail orientation and team player
