Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for an Audit Senior specializing in SOX compliance within the banking sector. This position offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious financial institution, where you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. You'll be responsible for evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Lead SOX compliance audits for various banking functionsAssess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processesCollaborate with stakeholders to document and update control processesPrepare detailed audit reports and present findings to managementAssist in the development and implementation of corrective action plansStay current with regulatory changes and ensure alignment with compliance standardsMentor junior audit staff and support their professional developmentRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA, CIA, or equivalent certification is preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years focused on SOX complianceStrong understanding of internal control frameworks and auditing standardsExperience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirableExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficient in audit software and Microsoft OfficeBenefits
