General Maintenance Technician
to join our Arlington team - we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution.
The General Maintenance Technician assists in building maintenance of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds. This includes general maintenance, upkeep, repairs and improvement of the building.
License Requirements:
Requires a valid driver's licenseExperience:
Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferredTraining: Minimum one month on the job training requiredRequirements for Yard Crew:
Ability to give special attention to detailMust have ability to recognize letters and numbersMust have strong verbal communication skillsMust be able to lift 75 poundsBenefits for General Maintenance Technician:

Weed eatingLandscapingPaintingBasic cleaning and upkeep of buildingsAll other duties as assignedMake repairs and changes to configurations in the warehouse, includes: painting, moving furniture, drywall, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc.Install and repair wifi thermostatsPerform physical inspections and preventative maintenancePerform ac repair work and all other maintenance related repairsAll other duties as assigned
