Crouse Hospital is located in Syracuse, New York and offers a variety of cases and sites, centrally located within a one block radius from one another. Crouse includes the main hospital and 3 ASC's. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. The site has an excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center.

Responsibilities
Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtains and/or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as neededRequirements
M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of MedicineECFMG and FLEXCompletion of approved residency in anesthesiaCurrently licensed as a physicianLifestyle

Short drive to the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and Finger Lakes wine region. Major universities such as Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University. CRNA's are encouraged to work to full scope including regional anesthesia.
