Job Function
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Production Operator will be based out of Orrville, OH and will be responsible for performing the below responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Work with raw materials, batching, mixing, weighing, and dumping ingredients; packaging and operation of numerous types of equipment.Operate machines which compact and process ingredients according to specifications.Rotate job assignments & meet Daily Production Targets.Handling of Hazardous Waste Material.Maintain required product documentation for orders and material control.Complete employee worksheet daily.Perform light maintenance on equipment and assist contractors when authorized by Manager.Package product according to customer specifications.Follow all site safety procedures & guidelines.Assist in review & updates of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Notify Leadman or Manager of any issues or concerns regarding equipment, safety, production, or quality.Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.Accountability for cleaning & organizing work areas, as well as overall general housekeeping of the facility.Required Experience
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift up to 55-pound drums, barrels, totes, etc.Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required; shifts can be either 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts.Must possess good math and communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Preferred Experience
Prior manufacturing batch operation experience.Forklift experience preferred.Benefits
