GRM is an enterprise control function that provides independent risk management for Bank of America. GRM’s function is to ensure the company pursues its responsible growth strategy through strong risk management practices while deploying its capital appropriately to support business activities and maximize shareholder value. GRM oversees the company’s governance and strategy for global risk management, including relationships with key regulators and supervisory institutions worldwide.Our culture of accountability and compliance requires that all employees comply with relevant laws, regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies and procedures. In this capacity, analysts partner with our business groups to help teams make critical business decisions to identify, manage, and mitigate risk.Primary analyst responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Implementing and maintaining appropriate risk management principles and policies, internal controls and processes designed to identify and mitigate risksEstablishing and regularly updating a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, measure, monitor and control all aspects of riskAnalyzing and reviewing market movements for front line partnersEnsuring that appropriate and effective risk management processes are in place throughout the companyPresenting regulatory and reputational advice and findings to senior leadersNetworking with risk executives and key stakeholders to cultivate meaningful relationships across various lines of businessPromoting a culture across the company where risk management is viewed as vital to achieving responsible growthGlobal Risk OpportunitiesThe Global Risk Development Program assigns analysts to teams across all seven types of risk. Rotational opportunities include positions supporting various business groups, such as the below:Global Compliance and Operational RiskEnterprise Financial RiskEnterprise Credit RiskGlobal Climate RiskEnterprise Independent TestingRegulatory Relations, Governance, and StrategyGlobal Markets Risk*Team assignments are developed based on business need and aligned to skillset and therefore cannot be guaranteed.QualificationsCandidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a graduation timeframe between November 2024 and August 2025.GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferredCommon areas of study include but are not limited to:
