** Production Location is at 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440****Standard Work Hours are Mon - Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm plus overtime and scheduled weekends**

Summary/Objective:The

Operator

I, Lettershop Inserter

is required to operate

mail production equipment

and performs other assigned tasks for the respective department.

Experience in a MAIL and/or LETTERSHOP work setting is CRITICIAL to success in this role.

Essential Functions:

Set-up, operating and basic maintenance of

mail production

machines and equipmentAble to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs ( inserting/sorting/folding mail )Able to set up basic jobsConsistently achieves expected throughput/efficiencyAble to run 100% mail well for critical clientsSelf-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better resultsTrouble-shoot

mailing/lettershop

equipmentProvide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standardsEnsure proper sorting according to USPS requirementsReconciling/recording for all outputAccurately use job data capture to track timeQuality

Strong quality of workMaintain an organized, safe, and clean work areaEffectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final outputReviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to SupervisorFollow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Excellent attendance record and punctualitySome experience working in a MAIL (not packaging) LETTERSHOPPosition requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of USPS regulationsAbility to read and understand job ticketsAbility to use powered material handling equipment and stack palletsEnglish fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment:

Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/dayMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsPersonal Protection Equipment (PPE) : Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.

Security Clearance:

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
