Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services (KRAIS) is seeking
Manager Level Fund Accountants
to join our rapidly growing fund administration company. KRAIS is a full-service fund administrator that provides full administration services including portfolio accounting and investor services, audit liaison, financial statement preparation, fund start-up services as well as tax and regulatory reporting to our alternative investment fund clients.
Coordinate, perform, supervise and review the end-to-end process of portfolio fund accounting, including fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, corporate action processing, and production of financial and investor statementsCoordinate, perform, supervise and review the preparation of Net Asset Value workpapers and reports along with performance reports to be used by investment managers, investors and third partiesFinancial statement preparation and review which includes: the statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of net asset value per share, statement of operations, statement of changes in shareholders' equity, and the statement of cash flowsEnsure investments and securities are accounted for correctly including equities, fixed income, options, futures, private placements, private equity investments and many other derivative investmentsAssist with administrative and operational duties such as staff supervision, recruitment, development of policies and procedures and all administrative related dutiesRequirements
What Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeA minimum of five years experience at a fund administrator, internal operations for a hedge or private equity fund, as an auditor to hedge or private equity funds a mustUnderstanding of investments, securities and financial marketsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel a mustWorking knowledge of Bloomberg and Paxus preferredStrong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively summarize findings, both verbally and in writingHow You'll Stand Out:
Strong leadership skillsAttentive to details and both quick and accurate in handling themBilingual in Spanish
