Traveling Dental Assistant

Salary: $15/hr (based on experience)Status: PRN

About this role:

The Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is responsible for supporting the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions with patients. This position is responsible for performing general RDA duties in collaboration with other team members. We are looking for team members focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining a strong professional relationship with others and a positive attitude. Needs reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities:Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.Capture quality x-ray imagesAssist dentist with a variety of treatment proceduresSetting up and sterilizing exam and treatment roomsDiscussing treatment options, importance, and follow-up recommended careSupporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requestedSterilizing instruments and following cross-contamination standardsCreating positive and uplifting patient environments through patient engagement before, during, and after visitsGuiding parents and patients through post-care instructionsAssisting patients with company-provided prizes and dismissalUnderstanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelinesAssist with consultsSet-up sterile roomUnload equipmentEquipment inventory (binder)Crash cart and 02 tank set up outside OP roomsHelp unload equipmentTurn on water, air and vacuumSet-up op rooms with assigned helper (making sure capnography machines time&date are set)Sterile (owning sterile making sure the team does not fall behind)Post-op panosEscorting patients outFlipping rooms with helper that dayExtra assistant in surgery roomBringing patients back{connecting them to the monitor)Maintenance on all OS equipmentRemoving IVAssisting surgeonOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:

Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing preferredKey Skills and Abilities, Characteristics of a good fit:

Schedule and Location:Denton Area (Multiple Locations: Lewisville, Garland, Grand Prairie, Plano, Denton & Greenville)Monday-Saturday
