Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2+ years License: Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, National Board of Respiratory Care Certified RRT (CRT acceptable) Must-Have: Critical care experience Job Description: - Provide advanced respiratory care in an academic medical center.- Work as part of a team in a new Heart Hospital known for cutting-edge heart care treatment.- Contribute to a nationally recognized chest pain center delivering comprehensive 24/7 STEMI heart attack care.- Engage in patient care on a floor noted for its medical firsts and complex transplant procedures.- Use a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including 980 and 840 ventilators, AVEA, Hamilton, HT70 vents, V60, cough assist, metaneb, and Nitric Oxide.- Document patient care and manage records using the Cerner EMR system.- Participate every third weekend, subject to scheduling variations, and work collaboratively in a unit with a 1:1 patient ratio.- Wear designated attire including ceil blue scrubs with black or ceil blue jackets/pants.This opportunity is for those who thrive in an innovative environment with a strong team spirit and a desire to partake in therapeutic treatments at the forefront of medical advances.
