At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing physician-led care locally.Open to the following: Med Ped Physician, Family, and Internal MedicinePrimary Responsibilities:Compliance with all coding and documentation requirementsPractice evidence-based medicineOutpatientEstablishes and maintains effective relationships with members, facility staff, and other collaborating physicians/providersCompletes follow-up and post-hospital assessments according to documented standard operating procedureParticipates in management meetings that include, but may not limited to:Weekly case conference reviewsMonthly staff meetingsSchedule Joint Operating Committee meetingsQuarterly Quality Improvement Committee meetingsContinuing education/journal club programs
Implements HEDIS measure campaigns and other quality initiatives as directed by Corporate Health Services to ensure the highest standards of care and to promote the improvement of care management and deliveryRequires participation in clinical on-call programKeeps current on relevant medical and nursing research, technology, and related issues by attending continuing education courses, professional meetings, and journal reviewsPerform related duties as necessary and other duties as assigned

Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment, offering a value-based practice model with a diversified patient base, competitive salary, and benefitsFewer patients per day, longer patient visitsFlexible scheduling optionsProvide care across the continuum, focusing on value-based care and supported by a robust team of specialistsProcedures can include, but not limited to simple skin surgery, fracture care, joint injections, etc.Full-time, schedule 4.5 workdays per weekOpen to BC/BE Family, Internal, Med/Peds physiciansMust be comfortable working with advanced providers
