Viable candidates must currently or very recently have worked at a regional or national public accounting firm. Recently promoted Tax Managers won't typically qualify for the upper pay range. Trust and Estate experience is preferred. No sponsorship of any kind is available. While this position allows for remote work, it does require to come into the local office roughly once a month.
Vale Group has partnered with a company based in Hamilton, NJ, who is actively searching for an experienced
Tax Manager
to work hybrid for an opportunity paying up to $155K base salary, based on experience. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while providing strategic tax planning and consulting services. This position requires a strong knowledge of tax laws, exceptional client service abilities, and experience in leading a team of tax professionals.
Requirements of the
Tax Manager :•Bachelor's degree in Accounting•CPA or EA certification required•7+ years of public accounting experience•Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills•Ability to adapt to the unique needs of a client-focused practice•Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software applications•Ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a solid command of the English language
Responsibilities of the
Tax Manager :•Manage and review complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts•Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations•Provide tax planning and consulting services, developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities•Stay up to date with new tax laws through research and continuous learning•Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for tax matters•Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, fostering a collaborative work environment
