CNC Machinist
to join their team in Independence, Ohio. Pemco is a 3rd-generation family business, started in 1943 and specializes in often one-of-a-kind, non-production variety of work while selling their products worldwide. Everyone is a valuable team member at Pemco.
We use state of the art as well as traditional machining processes, program, and machine a wide variety of metal components and fabrications using CNC machines on newer 3 & 5-axis milling machines & 2-axis lathes.

Monday to Friday8-hour shiftDay shiftThe right candidate will have:
3 years' previous machining experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentSelf-directed career minded professionalKnowledge of setup and use of all basic shop measuring equipment and gaugesAbility to setup both CNC Lathes and Mills and adjust the programsWork well with other skilled machinistsAbility to frequently lift to 50 lbs.; occasionally more than 50 lbs.Ability to occasionally use manual equipmentAbility to effectively communicate and interpret drawings and symbolsMust adhere to industry safety standards and practicesOur CNC Machinist will:
Read customer drawings from blueprints or CADSelect necessary toolsSetup CNC machine, and inspect partsDisplay knowledge of how to use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and all other tools related to machiningMaintain all necessary production and quality documentsMaintain equipment
