Job Summary:
The Regional Vice President of Account Management is a Leadership position accountable for driving net book growth within the regional and market segment and responsible for direct management of the Account Management team for the region.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for overall CSG DeliveryAccountable for day-to-day leadershipAccountable for Strategic Account PlansAccountable for Relationship DevelopmentAccountable for Renewal strategyConsulted on referralsInformed on day-to-day servicingInformed on Wellness coordinationInformed on Client Solutions ImplementationCompetencies & Qualifications:
Exceptional understanding of full-range of insurance related productsExceptional understanding of regulatory and compliance mattersExceptional understanding of healthcare reform and related trendsExceptional ability to develop multi-year overall benefits strategiesVery strong attention to detail, well organized and responsiveVery strong ability to model financial implications from benefit programsVery strong ability to develop new and creative benefits solutionsVery strong capabilities in negotiating with carriersVery strong oral and written communication skillsVery strong ability to form relationships with ""C""-Level ClientsVery strong ability to up-sell services to existing clientsAbility to negotiate with clientsAbility to work well in teamsAbility to lead client teamsAbility to mentor team membersAbility to effectively switch between clients and tasksAdvanced working knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, and WordEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or 10 Years of Relevant Experience - RHU or CLU PreferredMinimum 15 years of experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker providing account management services and support to clients of 100 lives or more. Minimum of 15 years of experience managing Account Management teams.Appropriate Resident Life & Health License
