Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2025 Security Service Intern in our Lyndhurst/Secaucus, NJ location! This internship will focus on learning how to understand project/service requirements such as specifications, standards, schedules, and safety. The intern will participate in project/service activities on site related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation and security management systems.
What will you do?Assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance on installed customers to Control SystemsAssisting with commissioning and startup of new to Control Systems to ensure proper operationHelp diagnose, troubleshoot and repair to Control Systems wiring, hardware and softwareHelp diagnose communication problems with control devices and other componentsCreate, load, test, and tune system databasesInstall, replace and re-commission Control Systems devices, equipment and softwareProvides emergency and warranty service as required.Create and maintain test records and as-built documentationConform to project site safety and housekeeping requirementsWhat qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical or similar engineering fieldsStrong communication skills with attention to detailLocal to the NJ/NY areaHave a valid driver's license
