Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.Position summary:The Quality Technician I will be responsible for performing advanced dimensional and visual inspections for various manufacturing processes. This role will also perform inspections using various methods and equipment, complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies, and procedures.Responsibilities:Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studiesAudit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentationInterpret SPC resultsManually operate and program various precision testing equipment including but not limited to tool scope, CMM, and vision systemsEffective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate an effective working relationship with customers, suppliers, and coworkersRecommend changes to quality documentationPerform key responsibilities of a Quality InspectorRead and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklistsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workEnter production information into the ERP system on a timely basisAccurately record and report hours workedSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetingsMaintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence ProgramComplete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentQualifications:Job RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent3 years of experience in quality assuranceKnowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenanceIntermediate GD&TProblem analysis and solvingManage multiple requirements and deadlinesDexterity and hand and eye coordinationAbility to use a microscope and hand toolsPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ISO 9001/13485Quality certifications
