Job Description

At Avibank we are increasing our 2nd Shift in our Swiss Department and are looking for a Level 3 machinist who has experience with Swiss/Star machines.Location Profile:Located in North Hollywood, CA, AvibankManufacturing, Inc.,a PCC Company, a part of the EngineeredProducts Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.Position Summary:Building upon level two, with little or no assistance level three machinists operate 2-5 axis CNC machines and conventional mills and lathes to produce complex aerospace parts demonstrating advanced cross training flexibility, including first part run and full machine recovery. Level three machinists are able to complete complex setups on 2-5 axis machines, apply advanced blueprint and GD&T reading to complex production inspection processes. Level three machinists will also be able to edit programs and write simple programs to make tooling. Level three machinist competencies include trouble shooting complex parts. Typically, 4-6 years of experience.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/ Star MachinesAbility to operate 2-3 CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star MachinesInspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniquesLoad/unload parts in provided work holding method per setupReplace broken cutting tools/inserts as neededComplete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standardsLoad and check CNC programEstablish work and tooling offset informationDeburr parts as requiredTraining of other employees on operation and set up of CNC machinesLight Maintenance Duty of equipmentMaintaining cleanliness of machine(s) and work cellRequired Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong knowledge with Fanuc, Haas, CELOS controllers. Preferred certifications in CNC operations. Background knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.Level of Education:High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.50 to $44.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
