Our ideal Pediatric Dental Assistant is warm and friendly to patients of all ages, is comfortable being shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors, and delivers exceptional chairside care for our pediatric patients.
A day in the life of a Pediatric Dental AssistantExpose digital diagnostic X-RaysRecord clinical findings and treatment information in patient recordsTake and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.Clean teeth, using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cupApply fluoride varnish, Sealants, and SDFInstruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.Pour, trim, and polish study casts.Assist in consults and treatment of tongue and lip ties on infants and childrenAssist chairside with nitrous while utilizing behavior guidance techniquesAssist chairside during IV SedationAssist in the hospital for general anesthesia surgery casesMaintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning scheduleCement stainless steel crowns, and space maintainers**Fill and finish restorations**Competitive Salary & More
