Requirements as a Chemist:BS in Chemistry, related science field, or equivalent quality/lab experience.Experience with Basic Lab instrumentation/QC tests3 on 2 off schedule including every other weekend required. OT availabilityChemist Preferred Requirements
Manufacturing experience desired.Strong experience using various laboratory equipment (e.g. PH meter, HPLC/GC, Titrator, UV-VIS, Viscometer) and aseptic sampling techniques.All applicants must be able to successfully a pass background check and drug screen
JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THE CHEMIST
Tests and approves raw materialsTest and approve finished and in-process batches; making adjustments as necessaryAnalysis and approval of line samplesAssist in production problems - trouble shootingMaintain and calibrate all gauges and instrumentsPrepare and standardize all required reagentsDevelop and validate new analytical proceduresAssists in training personnelPerform stability testing on OTC production
