The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals with the assigned region. This role provides direction and leadership to support office Sales staff, while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Regional geography.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides quality leadership for internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding values, at all times.Upholds values & standards, at all times: inclusive of professional approach with clients, constructive problem solving, promoting positive and creative improvements, and inspiring others.Achieves the Region's revenue and profitability quotas for products as they are sold into all customer segments within Region.Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth. Sells and educates how to sell value and solutions to customers.Directs the selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.Efficiently manages the sales and works in conjunction with the Sales and

Marketing department to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction within the assigned region.Works with the Motor Sales, Marketing and Sales team to organize and manage Sales Presentations

for new and existing clients to ensure attention and growth in the key account segments. .Responsible for the Region's forecasting and sales tracking.Sets the vision for the Region and develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision.Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and

future growth of regional sales and profitability.Disseminate information to regional sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales

operations.Ensure that Sales Call Report is mandatory and getting reported in a proper format either in a daily

or weekly.Ensure that Business Travel Plan has to be reviewed under immediate superior, and If there is any

change over the original plan, it should be reported to the related parties in a timely manner.15. Ensure that Expense Report must be correct and reported in a timely manner, and all costs incurred should be for necessary business expenses

16. Adheres to all guidelines outlined in the Sales Policy Manual.

17. Special projects as assigned.

Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:

Empowered to make decisions within the Region with approval of Regional Sales Director or Sr. Regional Sales DirectorAuthority to make cross functional decisions with the approval of Regional Sales Director or Sr. Regional Sales Director in partnership with peers of other functions.Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven leadership skills.Supervisory or management experience, preferably of a sales staff.Working knowledge of Tire Industry sales market segments within an assigned sales territory.Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position.Strong closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and

benefits to customers.Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel and Power

Point, etc.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business Management or related field (preferred)Three to five years Tire Industry Regional Sales Management experience

Working Hours:

Hours may vary and will require evening and weekend work depending on business needs and will require working overtime

Ability to travel as required by role (up to 75% of the time).
