Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial analysis, overseeing financial reporting, and contributing to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives. This role involves working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance, including profitability, cost management, and financial trends.Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance and assess the impact of various business scenarios.Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics specific to Caliber as well as the collision repair industry.Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Provide detailed reports, analysis, and commentary on financial performance to senior management and the board of directors.Strategic Planning:

Support the development and execution of strategic plans by providing financial insights and analysis.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives, such as capital investments.Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.Develop and recommend best practices for financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Work with cross-functional teams to streamline procedures and improve data accuracy.Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data and insights.Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations effectively to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders.Support and mentor junior financial analysts as needed.Compliance and Controls:

Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or a related role, with a strong track record in strategic planning and process improvement.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to senior management and other stakeholders.High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Experience with Excel-based reporting tools such as Power BI, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services, etc.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial analysis and reporting within the collision repair or automotive service industry.Knowledge of industry-specific financial metrics and performance benchmarks.Experience with strategic planning and corporate development initiatives.
