An employer in Midland, TX is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting 25 sites located within the Permian Basin with 200-250 end u . This person will be responsible for handling any IT related issues from hardware break fix, troubleshooting application and basic networking issues, setting up new u , imaging laptops, and helping assist with a Windows 11 upgrade. Other tasks will include traveling to sites for in person support (as needed), helping support the Helpdesk with phone support, and assisting with asset/inventory tracking. Candidates will also be helping upgrade memory and SSD drives along with replacing outdated hardware. This person needs to be comfortable interfacing with uboth in person and remotely, have strong communication, be a self-starter and have excellent customer service attitude.
