Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our financial systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and security in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, extensive experience with ERP and peripheral financial systems, and a foundation in how those applications are structured. By integrating practical accounting knowledge with technical proficiency, the Financial Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing our financial processes and systems.

ResponsibilitiesFinancial Systems Management: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial systems to support the organization's accounting and financial operations. Ensure systems are aligned with business needs and financial reporting requirements.ERP and Peripheral Financial Systems Configuration: Act as finances primary liaison for financial system changes, updates, and troubleshooting.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize financial systems and databases tools to extract, analyze, and present financial data. Work with report writers and systems team to maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support financial decision-making processes across the organization.Training and Support: Provide ongoing training and support to users on financial systems, ensuring best practices are followed. Assist in resolving any system-related issues and queries.Compliance and Security: Monitor financial systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Implement and maintain measures to protect financial data from unauthorized access.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial processes.Proficiency in ERP systems configuration and management, preferably with hands-on experience in a leading ERP platform.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience in the implementation of financial systems or ERP upgrades.Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.Salary Information:

To the extent this position is performed in New York, the annual salary range for this role is $125,000-175,000.

The range stated is specific to New York. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction related & Field specific roles) and internal company equity.
