Roles and Responsibilities

Check foot straps for ESD compliance as neededFollows ISO process sheet for the operation.Adheres to all quality and safety guidelinesParticipate in performance feedbackUsing tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil and hot air reflow, will rework printed circuit boards per specificationsMust be able to be precise solderer and be very detailed and meticulousWill be knowledgeable of rework aids: solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, solder paste isopropyl alcoholWill keep records in Aegis system, i.e. parts tracking, defect locations and specific issues with the boardsEnters scrap information into Aegis and iDashboardPerforms visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various states of production.May be required to lift bins of assembliesResponsible for inputting fallout data into AegisBe able to pull up Product documentation in AegisBe able to interpret customer specifications and requirementsCapable of reading blueprints to determine additional customer requirements not identified in process documentationResponsible for primary communication of findings/quality issues to production staffPerform NPI 1st Article Inspection activitiesPerform in line and end of line auditingCommunicate to supervisors' specifics regarding defect findingsWork to meet production and quality department goalsCross train in other departmentsAdditional duties as assignedEssential Job Functions
