Your opportunity
You will be responsible for overseeing the investment risk management framework across the firm's asset management business. The successful candidate will lead the global risk team, develop robust risk management processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while optimizing the risk-adjusted performance of portfolios. This is a senior role reporting to the COO of Investments.
You will:
Lead a team of investment risk professionals across all asset classes located in the US, UK and Singapore.Oversee the firm's investment risk management function across all asset classesWork in partnership with IT to enhance the operating model of proprietary and vendor solutionsSupport the Individual Asset Class Investment Risk leads to deliver independent oversight and challenge to portfolio managersensuring that risk is taken appropriately and within established limitsProvide oversight and support to the development and maintenance of quantitative risk models to measure portfolio risks, such as Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, and scenario analysisEnsure the effective implementation and monitoring of risk policies and limits across the businessPresent risk insights and reports to senior management, boards, and investment committeesLead and work closely with the performance analytics team to leverage advanced analytics to assess risks and produce detailed performance reports for both internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with portfolio management, research, and compliance teams to integrate risk management into the investment processOversee regulatory reporting requirements related to investment risk and ensure compliance with industry standardsMonitor and evaluate market trends, geopolitical developments, and other macroeconomic factors that may impact the firm's portfoliosLead and mentor the risk management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementCarry out other duties as assignedWhat to expect when you join our firm

Minimum of 10 years experience in investment risk management, within an asset management or investment firm across different geographiesStrong expertise across various asset classes, including equity, fixed income, and multi-assetAdvanced knowledge of risk models, tools, and methodologies (e.g. VaR stress testing, and scenario analysis)A solid understanding of the regulatory landscapeStrong analytical and quantitative skillsExperience conducting comprehensive M&A due diligence and ensuring smooth post-deal implementationA demonstrable track record of developing, maintaining and enhancing investment performance reporting processes and analytics, through partnership or experienceProven experience successfully leading global teams, managing projects, and implementing changeAbility to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels, including the BoardBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fieldNice to have skills
Master's or CFA/FRM designation preferredQuantamental risk modelling experienceProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar toolsInvestment areas

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $275,000-300,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through October 15, 2024.
