The intern will work on or be exposed to the following:Query and validate data from various sources in the Bancorporation's data environmentUse analytic techniques to assess risk in credit portfoliosAssist in comparing the credit portfolio to that of peer banksMaintain framework used to manage credit risk (evaluate credit metrics)Various clean-up/data projectsQualifications:

Currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related degreeExposure to statistical programming software (SAS, R, Python)Experience working with large data setsBasic understanding of SQLInterest in portfolio risk management and statistical analysisRequires strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to make sound decisions and be inquisitive - not afraid to ask questions or make recommendations.Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets, word processing, etc.
