Job Summary

Zachry Construction Corporation (ZCC) is seeking a Risk Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Risk Management staff in providing risk management services for Zachry Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates; will provide support for the Director of Risk Management. This role will assist the Director of Risk Management with contract review, corporate and project specific insurance policy review, communicate with brokers to coordinate timely project specific marketing and policy placement. This position will work out of the Zachry Corporation corporate office in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires in-office work and does not offer remote options.

Essential Functions

Assist projects and their personnel with site specific questions and problemsProactively communicate and collaborate with internal customersObtain insurance quotations from selected brokers as neededAssist with annual risk management insurance renewalsAssist projects and their personnel with site specific questions and problems - All divisionsResponsible for reviewing project proposal documents and/or corporate insurance renewalCommunicate and collaborate with field staff and be available to travel to project sites if neededProactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and deliver the required results/productsThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position. Required Skills & Experience

Five plus years insurance experienceBasic contract experience would be preferredBachelor's degree in related area of expertiseGeneral knowledge of constructionKnowledge and applicability of property and casualty insurance coveragesAbility to successfully engage in multiple concurrent initiative and projects and meet scheduled deadlinesMust be highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to identify issues or concerns and seek viable solutions.Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external diverse groups of executives, managers, subject matter experts, partners and other stakeholders.Possess strong problem solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational skillsExcellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently or in a team as requiredBenefits and EOE
