Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting. This position works under the supervision of a dentist and dental office manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Driving the company vehicle to the scheduled facilityPreparing patients for dental proceduresTaking and developing dental X-raysChairside assisting the dentist or dental hygienistCleaning and polishing teethApplying fluoride treatmentsInstructing patients on oral hygieneMaintaining dental recordsDental Assistant Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentActive X-ray Certification (or) DANB National Radiation Health and Safety Exam passedAt least two years of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamState Driver's License and clean driving recordDental Assistant Benefits:
