Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector performs Aircraft and Engine Inspections as called out by routine work cards, Engine orders and non-Routine events. The Quality Control Inspector will perform Required Inspection Items (RII) work in Lieu of the Chief Inspector, as well as Boroscope Inspections, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspections and other duties assigned.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) DiplomaOne (1) year of previous experience in aircraft and accessories inspectionsAbility to pass color perception and eye exam initially and on an annual basisValid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant CertificatePossess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue Airways' insurance standardsAvailable for occasional overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipPreferred Experience and Qualifications

The base pay for this role starts at $42.00 per hour. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
