Inova Springfield Healthplex Emergency Room is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the teamSchedule: FullTime, Evening shiftThis Free-Standing Emergency Unit services the local community:80-105 patients a day, with approximately 20% pediatric patientsAverage LOS 96 mins4-5:1 patient to nurse ratioVentilator trained nursing and EMT staffSupportive team environmentOpportunity for advancementStroke certified parent hospitalNurse autonomy

As an Inova Nurse you will :Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomesUtilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements:Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting .Strongly prefer 2 years plus of ED RN experienceBSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.BLS certification from the American Heart Association requiredProficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward othersProficient computer skills required.
