Work on high-quality audits and reviews of financial statements through all stages of an engagement, including planning and fieldwork, while working in a variety of industries with publicly traded and privately owned clients. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients while collaborating on the impact of the latest accounting standards, as well as a resource and mentor for other audit team members.

Review and possibly oversee all phases of compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statementsPerform more complex attestation services, including, but not limited to: accrued liabilities, investments, and inventoryAssist the client with complex accounting transactions and manage internal teams for successful completionReview the workpapers for completeness and accuracyDelegate and oversee the initial preparation and set-up of client files and engagement lettersDevelop a work plan and timeline for the engagement and delegate work accordinglyReview sample sizes and transactions to be testedWork effectively within given budgetary parametersPrepare and review client financial statements and related documentsResearch and prepare memos on technical issuesDevelop and deliver client communicationsDiscuss and explain accounting transactions with clients in a group or one-on-one settingIdentify potential risks, concerns, or issues regarding the clientCommunicate issues and/or status updates with Manager or Partner (and possibly client) as necessaryRequirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 150 credit hours4+ years of progressively challenging Public Accounting experienceStrong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting and other software, including Microsoft Office SuiteStrong working knowledge of all areas of the general ledgerStrong knowledge of financial statement procedures and the ability to distinguish between material and immaterial itemsStrong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and knowledge of review, compilation, and auditing standardsAbility to creatively solve problems and analyze client dataBenefits
