Position Details:Greet patients warmly and professionally at all times during interactionPerforms blood collection procedures and related tasksVerifies specimen order requirements and identifying information prior to specimen collectionFollows venipuncture procedures and displays knowledge of standard procedures, techniques and common practice areasLabels all specimens collected and delivers/transports them to the appropriate processing area
Qualifications:Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDPhlebotomy certification/licensure is required in Washington, California, Louisiana, and Nevada. Phlebotomy certification is preferred in all other states where not requried by State or Federal regulation.CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment. In Washington only: Must also have AIDS training, verification, and statements that of good physical and mental health.Experience:
Prior Phlebotomy experience preferred
