Job Summary

The Human Resource generalist ensures that HR policies, procedures, and programs are implemented effectively and in accordance with Sanitas goals and objectives while contributing to an outstanding employee experience. The main activities involve HR functional areas such as employee management and organizational development in employee relations, training, onboarding, recruitment/employment, as well as serving as an administrative support to the HR department.

Essential Job Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource processes, politics and procedures in compensation, payroll & benefits, talent acquisition, training and development as required.Advise leaders and employees regarding company policies, values, and programs to ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in a timely manner.Support activities regarding the recruitment process from end to end which could include but are not limited to coordinating job openings, scheduling interviews with internal leadership and conducting background checks.Assists orientation process when necessary.Ability to understand business operations from a strategic and tactical perspective.Manage employment-related inquiries, ensure the appropriate diagnosis, developing solutions, implementing actions plans and referrals to other members and/or functional areas in human resources when necessary.Active participation in diversity & inclusion initiatives.Active participation in execution of health & wellness programs.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.Ensure activities, processes and procedures comply with federal and state employment laws and regulations.Active participation in HR meetings.Execute key initiatives that support Sanitas HR strategies.Ongoing communication with functional areas to be aligned with the department strategies.Provide continuous assistance to the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) ensuring the sustained operational functionality of the department.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required EducationBachelor's degree in human resources, administration or equivalentRequired Experience

2-3 years of experience in Human ResourcesRequired Licenses and Certifications

Knowledge of federal and state regulations.Knowledge of employment laws.Knowledge of labor relationships.Customer - oriented competenceProficient in MS Excel and Google Suite.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical problem-solving abilities.Must possess a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment.Working knowledge of Human Resources concepts, laws, regulations and legal terminology.Demonstrates ability to build mutually productive relationships and interact with management and key partner groups.Preferred Qualifications

SHRM - CP or SHRM-SCP or HR certificationWorking knowledge in Paycom platforms.Certification in Human Resources or related field.

Physical Demands
