Responsibilities:Educates patients on oral healthcare and the prevention of dental problemsExamines teeth and diagnoses patients dental conditionsAssesses treatment options and presents treatment plans to patientsDocuments risk assessment and records findings for, but not limited to, oral cancer screening, periodontal screening/charting and caries riskConsiders appropriate interventions based on risk and reinforces recommendations made to support diagnosesProvides clinical treatmentsMaintains patient dental recordsKeeps apprised of new developments through structured continuing professional developmentMarkets services to potential clientsDetects disease with appropriate screening and assessment toolsRefers patients to orthodontists or other dental specialists for more advanced procedures and care when appropriateSelects appropriate materials and equipment for dental treatmentProtects patients and employees by adhering to OSHA infection-control policiesMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and adhering to HIPAA privacy policiesFollows all Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook and state statutes/rulesBenefits include:Experienced local clinical and management supportRobust, fully-funded CE programCompetitive compensation structureOwnership OpportunitiesPaid in-house & external CE Programs and ongoing clinical mentorshipHealth/Vision/Dental insurance401K Savings PlanMalpractice coverageQualifications:Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) required.Compensation:$200,000-$300,000 per year plus a$10,000 Signing Bonus!
