Position Summary
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is excited to announce an opening for a Radiation Oncologist to practice at June E. Nylen Cancer Center, (JENCC) in Sioux City, IA. This is a distinctive opportunity to provide patient care services in an ACRO accredited state of the art community facility with all the advantages of a full-time faculty appointment. JENCC has been the region's leader in cancer care and blood disorders providing the highest quality, compassionate care through prevention, treatment, and research for 25 years.
Opportunity Highlights: •Team of two radiation oncologists with highly trained and experienced staff •100% clinical practice •Latest technology for treatment delivery including two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Aria and Eclipse software, PET CT Simulator •Team approach to care planning with excellent relationships across all specialties •Work with team of ten ABR board certified/eligible faculty members that fosters peer support, tumor boards, access to clinical trials, professional support, and leadership •Fully accredited radiation oncology and medical physics residency programs
