Job Responsibilities:•Prepare and review financial and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and timeliness including the preparation and review of variance explanations.•Meet all internal and external (lender, investors, partners) reporting guidelines as well as monthly, quarterly and year-end deadlines.•Update cash and reconcile bank statements weekly/ monthly for your portfolio and be responsible for the accounting manager's cash and bank reconciliations.•Review and oversee property vendor invoices in accounts payable system in preparation for cash disbursements of such payables.•Work with internal and external business partners (e.g. asset management, management team, external auditors).•Assist in training property accountants in regard to company accounting policies and procedures.•Provide directives to the property managers relating to accounting for property management activities.•Maintain and review general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy of postings•Ensure detailed information is recorded for good audit trail.•Analyze, review, edit, correct and reconcile general ledger accounts.•Complete month end close out tasks for all properties

Requirements:Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; Master's preferred.Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the accounting field.Possesses a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.Expertise in excel.Preferred experience and knowledge with YardiWhy choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
