As a Blender, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients to create high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail safety standards.Responsibilities: Day tank furnaces for melting are used to produce glass compositions tailored to our customer's specific requirements. Utilization of crushing, dry and wet milling equipment allows SG to deliver coarse to fine micron-size powders. Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes Operate blending equipment to mix ingredients thoroughly Follow established procedures for blending and processing products Monitor blending process to ensure consistency and quality Conduct regular quality checks on finished products Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work area Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals Requirements: Knowledge of basic math for measuring and weighing ingredients accurately Ability to follow instructions precisely Familiarity with and safety practices Mechanical knowledge for operating blending equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed Skills: - Preparing ingredients - Understanding of regulations and practices - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately - Ability to fabricate ingredients as required - Mechanical knowledge for operating blending equipmentJob Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday
