Aircraft Inspector
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Inspector for an opportunity in Renton, WA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for a wide range of inspection functions supporting materials, sheet metal, composites, process and assembly operations. Follow programs, documents, drawings, specifications and quality standards to perform inspection functions.Perform audit/surveillance/measurement/inspection of all sheet metal/composite parts/assemblies according to specifications, processes and procedures.Initiate and document any non-conforming materials, parts, assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, process and procedures.Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and ProceduresWorking knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and SpecificationsOverall working knowledge of production processesContact other company organizations or customer representatives, as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.Good communication skills written and verbalGood computing skillsOperate testing machines, calculate and record resultsMaintain certifications as requiredPlan own sequence of operationsFollow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assembliesVerify that tools are qualifiedPrepare and maintain Quality recordsWork across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes as requiredCross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classificationsInspector Testing:Blueprint test outPrecision Measurement test outElectrical Bond Final Inspection test outTwo sealer courses test outHow to write a Tag (instructor led)Visual Acuity Test***Tools needed*** Inspection mirrorFlash light (Not a basic flash light, LED or equivalent)Feeler gaugesCalipers
Qualifications and requirements:737 Inspections of Spirit re-work
LOCAL to the Area, Strongly Preferred.
MUST BE able to work any shift.MUST be eligible for access into Boeing Facilities - Left in good standing. Must be eligible for rehire at BOEING. - Resource can call 866-473-2016 to find out eligibility. - it takes 24/48hrs. to receive a call back.Training/Certification will take place in Renton, WA., or Wichita, KS., TBD
Pay and per diem only, for those that qualify
